About Me

I am a follower of Christ and these are my writings and reflections about some of my conversations with the Lord and the things that I reflect and notice with the Lord.  Hence the name of the main current blog is, Moments with God.  My spiritual formation will be different from yours, but we can help each other by pointing to Christ who lives in and with us.

I am also a full time working Christian mother who happens to be a physician.  I teach all levels of medicine in a major Canadian university medical school. 

There was a time in my youth when I sang in a chapel choir in cathedral settings.  There was a time in my life when I conducted a choir in the English congregation of our Chinese church when I was a research fellow in my narrow field of research then.  There was a very long time where I was single and single minded in the affairs of the Lord, where I taught in Bible studies, lead in fellowships, and mentored many students.  It was a season that I miss very much now in hindsight.  Then I got married late in life, and God gave us two children through miracles.   Then there was a time where I was diagnosed with a very aggressive triple negative breast cancer. I survived with insight from God through prayers, aggressive neoadjuvant chemotherapy, surgery and radiation.

This site is where I write about God stories for my family and my children. I still actively participate in prayer ministries, attend a Chinese church in Canada, and I do whatever it is that the Lord allows us time for.

I am a married Chinese Christian working mom physician who is sometimes angry 😛 .  I hope that my stories and musings blesses your journey in Christ.
